Annette Horvath
Annette Horvath was the administrator at Bronxwood Home for the Aged, Inc. She was responsible for a 320 bed facility, one of the largest in the city. She was responsible for the day to day operations and management of the residents and the facility, Annette, with her staff, had created an annual event, Bronxwood Day, to integrate the community with the residents in a street fair and this has been recognized by the Bronx Borough President, Rubin Diaz Jr. and the Speaker of the House, Carl Heastie with proclamations.
Annette is a Registered Nurse; she received her Bachelor of Science degree from Lehman College and holds a Master’s of Science degree in health administration received from Iona College. She has over 25 years of experience in the health industry. Annette was honored by the New York State Health Care providers with the Founders Spirit Award, and was recognized by Highland Park Community Development for her work on their board. She has been an active participant and board member for NYSHCP association as well as participation on community boards and been an active participant in NYS department of health committees and clinical advisory boards. Annette enjoys reading, especially mystery novels.
